Deflation, at it again. Theses people have been deflated like the dollar. Deflated so that they are living in the streets, and these cops add insult to injury and cut their tents in half. Harrasment of the homeless is one of the main jobs of the police. Thing is, these people are still homeless. Homeless people are not cognizant of alternatives. Here is my professional assessment. These tents are donated. You can see some organization bought many of the exact same tent. Most are the same style and color, and those of a different color are pretty much the same style. Charities do this so their is no favoritism in the product distributed. As to avert infighting and petty jealousy amongst the recipients. Now these tents are gone, where are these families and individuals going to sleep? This is the core disconnect. Police following orders without thinking. And this is why God calls us not to assume this type of role if we can help it. You can not have a job which opposes all virtue and claim to be righteous men working for a righteous cause. Grinding the poor into dust is not a righteous cause, and a righteous man would know that, and refuse aid and comfort to such action as would further deflate the hope of the poor.
