Served under General Nathan Bedford Forrest, Pvt. Co. E 18th Mississippi Battalion, Chalmers Regiment. Discharged 1865 at end of war. (De Leon Cemetery, 01/06/1848-07/25/1930). •Hilton, A.C. •Holdridge, John Henry, Pvt. Co. G, Drummer 14th Alabama Infantry (July 19, 1842-March 31, 1921), buried in the De Leon Cemetery. •Holland, W.D., was one of the few who enlisted in the Confederate army that actually was living in Comanche County at the time. He was living on the Sabano. Although his war record has not been located, he was the father of Frank Holland. He died in Dublin in the late 1920s. •Holmes, Andrew Jackson–Co. Also at battles of Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, Chickamauga, and Missionary Ridge. Under Gen. Hood at Franklin, Tenn. where he was captured and sent to p.o.w. Camp Douglas in Chicago.
