Democracy with its liberal / secular roots has its own value system, and certain actions are considered as democratic sin / kufr and liable to punishment under the framework of international human rights framework, this includes bringing religion into politics and policy making through majorities opinion, rather it would be termed as democratic Kufr therefore, military action against those who demands imposition of religious values through democratic process is very much justified under democratic ideals accepted world wide... the entire body of literature available since 17th century and its application throughout the world confirm this very fact, but unfortunately various religious political parties fail to learn and realize this! I hope the experience in Egypt open the eyes of those who considers it justified to bring religion into politics through democratic process.
