**** Denver Police Department Crime Alert **** Spanning the dates of August 17, 2014 and October 3, 2014, several convenience stores in the Montbello area have been robbed at gunpoint by one to three suspects. The suspects are described as Black Males in their late teens to early 20s. They are usually wearing hooded sweatshirts, jeans and white gloves. The suspects take cash and merchandise from the locations prior to fleeing on foot. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP(7867) or by using the FREE Metro Denver Crime Stoppers mobile app – available for Apple, Android and select BlackBerry devices. All tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible for an award of up to $2,000.00.
