Deut. 8:11-20 11 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. - we need to carefully obey Gods commands because as humans we can easily misinterpret what God is telling us to do. 17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” - when things seem to go our way in life and we become successful instead of praising God we get blinded by thinking it is our own doing. 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. - we need to know that without God we are nothing. 20 Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God. - destruction will come if we fail to obey Gods commands. We become vulnerable to being attacked by the enemy. (Deuteronomy 8:11, 17, 18, 20 NIV) My I will statements: I will carefully obey what God has commanded me to do so that what He has planned may be fulfilled. And i will always remember that if it isnt for God i would not have the ability to do anything i have done in my life. I will always praise and glorify my Lord Jesus. Gods character: God is always a great provider and will never fail to meet your needs and will even give you more than what you deserve. He is a God of unconditional love. And He is a just God. Humans charater: We tend to forget God when we become successful and when things come crumbling down thats when we come running back to God. To whom i will share this with: Everyone
