Devins surgery went very well, no problems, no complications. He had a port put in for chemo, and one for dialysis to help his kidneys. Also took bone marrow and spinal fluid to test. Devin was asleep for a good part of the day, and is now in the ICU, where he will stay for about a week. He had his first chemo treatment and will be on dialysis for a few days. Beth and De would like to thank you all for your support through this difficult and emotional time. You have been their rock and they appreciate everything. Please coordinate with visits with each other, and text Beth or De and let them know if and when you would like to come up. The ICU has very strict rules. Hours are 9-9, no one under the age of 18 is allowed in, and only 2 visitors in the room at a time. These rules are strictly enforced. The family asks that you please try to keep your visit to an hour as Devin gets tired out quickly. When he gets back to a regular room they can go back to more flexible visits.
