Diane asked, How do you handle a child who is lazy? You know that they can do the work....but they just dread doing it so much that it takes forever to do one simple task (or assignment). Often I wonder if Im doing something wrong. I try to make the class fun but even that dont work. I am about at my wits end here and have often thought of placing her back in public school, but I REALLY DONT WANT THAT FOR HER. Any advice on how I can encourage her to change her way of thinking? (Believe me, I have had so many talks with her on this subject). I just wanna cry! Thanks for listening.
