Did Bette Davis get along with any of her co-stars? This Warners publicity still plays up the feud between Davis and Miriam Hopkins (who co-starred in 2 films, The Old Maid [1939] and Old Acquaintance [1943]), but apparently they really did hate each other, Hopkins because she held a grudge against Davis for stealing her Broadway triumph in Jezebel (and Davis won the Oscar for it) and also because Hopkins believed Davis had an affair with Hopkins husband, director Anatole Litvak; I presume Davis hated Hopkins because, well, she hated everybody.
