Did Yeshua/Jesus say ... ...deny me, you are not under the law, satisfy your own desires, cause I totally get it? ... or did he say something like... deny yourself, pick up your cross/stake, and follow me? Why do so many use the phrase we are not under the law without thinking it through? It makes no sense the way they use it. Heres the way it works. Yeshua kept the law perfectly. Yeshua says to us follow Him. When we follow Him we are in perfect obedience while we are following. Therefore we are not under the law because we are under His leadership. HOWEVER... notice that we are at all times obedient to the law unless we are NOT following Him and then we ARE under the law because we are walking in disobedience. I wish people would stop misusing that statement.
