According to the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, careers as Software Developers are expected to dramatically increase by 22 percent from 2012 through 2022, paying a median wage of $93,350 annually or $44.88 an hour. Computer Support Specialists are expected to increase 17 percent from 2012 through 2022, paying a median wage of $48,900 annually or $23.51 an hour. Careers as a Database Administrators are expected to grow 15 percent from 2012 through 2022, paying a median wage of $77,080 annually or $37.06 an hour. Other careers, such as Web Developers, Computer Systems Analyst and Network Architects are also expected to be in high demand.
