Did you know that exercise is not just for your physical health, - TopicsExpress

Did you know that exercise is not just for your physical health, but also for your mental health as well? I am sure many students, who have started exercising, have realized the mental health benefits of being physically fit as well. Exercising keeps the mind clear and focused by sending alpha waves to the brain, so this benefits students greatly when they are trying to study for those pesky final exams. A study done by the University of Texas Medical Center also revealed that exercising helps to prevent depression. The results of the study showed that people who exercised at least 30 minutes per day, as The American College of Sports Medicine and the Surgeon General suggest, were half as likely to become depressed and generally showed less signs indicating depression. Apparently, when you engage in physical fitness, an abundance of endorphins are created and help stimulate a legal high without the extreme snack foods craving. With that being said, many college students should switch to exercising, instead of participating in activities on campus which may get them expelled (unless you go to college in L.A. or Colorado). In the end, exercise gives you a great, healthy body, both mentally and physically, with some fun added bonuses! https://youtube/watch?v=mJW7dYXPZ2o
