Did you know that noone knows who wrote House of the rising sun. Thats right, its origin has been speculated many times, but never pinpointed. Some have claimed that the folk songs origin has gone back to the 1600s, of course this version was about a Soho brothel in England, others claim it is an American folk song that originated in the 1800s about a mans unfortunate trip to new Orleans.
