Did you know we have a variety of terrific sports diplomacy programs through SportsUnited - U.S. Department of State, like Sports for Community? Sports for Community translates the energy generated from mega-sporting events, like the World Cup, into positive results for local communities and sport-based youth development leaders. The program pairs 15 Brazilian emerging leaders with representatives from private and non-profit sport-based organizations for a month-long mentorship experience in the United States. Our Sports for Community participants recently wrapped up their U.S. based mentorships.
