Each donated and loving knit by hand, over 90 scarves were tied this morning to resemble the iconic red ribbon of HIV and AIDS Awareness. It is estimated that over 70 000 individuals are currently living with HIV and AIDS in Canada – over 25 % of whom do not know they are infected with the HIV virus.
