Difficult relationship with The Jerk this week. On wednesday, we were not on speaking terms. I failed at attempts to communicate a weight that was much, much less than my PR. Today, I thought I had patched things up. I was committed and trusting, and treating her right. I equaled my PR. Then, on an attempt at a PR, it was almost like magic, the rock solid feeling going into it, dipping, driving, connecting and locking out. I say it was almost like magic, because I was a little off center, and as I tried to recover, the blocks were in my way and everything came crashing around me. 240lbs, landing right on my thumb. Ouch! Less than fun.
