Obviously, there is something big going on in Scotland today and we cant ignore it - its creating a lot of interest around the world. Scotland is voting for independence today. It is a decision for Scotland and we, as Americans, certainly have no right to tell the Scots what we think about it and we wont. That said, voting will continue until 10pm British Time, about 4pm US Eastern Time. Results should start coming in after that. Theyre expecting to have the full result of the vote by 6/7am Friday British Time or about midnight tonight here in the USA. We will announce the result as soon as it is known. The BBC World news channel will provide live coverage when the polls close. A final note, abuse of any kind will not be tolerated on this page. Please keep it civil.
