Rowe Some Western friends have asked me, why do want to go a foreign country like Thailand, where you hardly speak the language, its a strange culture and may be dangerous. My response: Its not about the language, its about how you are treated. Friendly strangers can cross the language barrier. Most Thais are Buddhist, very tolerant and generous. Very little violent crime here. I want to learn about other cultures. In my opinion, that is why we should travel outside USA. Theres many ways to live our lives.
