Do not cast your Pearl to Pigs By Akyala Ishaku. In my culture pigs are considered greedy, unkempt and without conscience. They derive a lot of joy from playing in the mud. If you adorn a pig in sparkling white apparels, for instance, you will have a daunting task preventing it from getting into muddy puddles. Each one of us have things we cherish. It could be a family name, an item like diamond or a virtue. If you cast this thoughtlessly to a pig of an individual, expect a heart break instead of appreciation. Kingdoms fall when they fall in the hands of piggish leaders. The 2015 general election is around the corner. We are faced with a critical choice to make for our nation at all levels. We must arise and make the change we so desperately need by voting wisely. We must vote integrity and not men with questionable characters. Note evil can only persist as long as good men remain silent and unwilling to act. Let us arise and build a great Nigeria come 2015.
