Do we have any word on July 19 - 20? heres my proposal - Id say my parents will try to be there at around noonish on that Saturday - nothing officially planned but maybe we go to lunch etc visit - in between take a nap time if needed - THEN around 4-5 PM we meet in the Gym for get together etc. Then whoever can stay for Sunday services the next AM and lunch at the gym - Any or all of the meals can be BYO-KFC - etc - sometimes thats actually easier - groups of 5-6 can order pizzas or buckets etc. But if the Church or specific group wants to provide anything thats OK too. Both My parents and Bro. Tony are excited about this event - Also I propose a No Evangelism rule for anyone who might have differing religious views at this point in their life.and might be avoiding the event due to that possibility of uncomfortable conversations [Bro Tony is exempt from this rule haha]. I know that is the purpose for the Church but my dad wants to see all of you and I dont want that to interfere with the good times and/or attendance by anyone -- Trust me on this one if someone has made a choice like this youre not going to change their minds in an afternoon. And this is just a suggestion Im making Im not going to call anyone out on it or anything - Im also going to use this promise to get a couple of you to come down for this [you know who you are :)} My dad mentioned those by name. :) :) :) :)
