Do you mind if I gripe? . . . . . . Im so ticked off at Tim Hortons I just have to tell somebody! On our way to a Thanksgiving dinner to which we were invited guests, we stopped at Tim Hortons for coffee & Timbits. We handed the clerk our travel mugs and she filled them, handed them to us and whoosh .... the entire cup of scalding hot liquid flew all over us. The twit clerk didnt screw the lid on, she just set it on top. My favourite blouse was covered in coffee mocha, my pants, shoes & socks as well. My leg burnt for a while but it left no mark fortunately.. My husbands shirt, pants and shoes & socks were covered in coffee mocha as well. The manager of course apologized and gave us wipes to wipe ourselves off. They refilled our travel mugs and we told them that our timbits were saturated as well so they gave us new timbits. To add insult to injury, we paid for 6 timbits and were given 4. We showed up at our host & hostesss home with stained shirts, pants, shoes & socks. We were so embarrassed! Im totally ticked off with them because I was wearing my favourite, pretty blouse.
