Do you remember this case of 2 akitas seized in Philadelphia back in July 2013 ? One female seen in the picture who was in horrific condition, starved dehydrated, flea infested found tied up to a railing next to her partner a male akita who had long since passed on due to the heat and starvation ? Owners where found and prosecuted , however the punishment given is mild compared to the suffering these two akitas went through ...Help came to late for that male akita who haunts me in my sleep , just thinking about him suffering in the hot sun , starved ..Even the most seasoned rescuers have night mares of those that could not be saved, who lost their lives like this akita did . ..then you have Kathy now Kaffe, who clung to life and made it.....We will be posting pictures of her , now very much loved by a very special couple who operate a fencing school in Philadelphia.To say seeing Kaffes new pictures keep us going in rescues hope that we continue to see that all animals are treated with love and respect ...New pictures will bring you to tears..This dog nearly lost her life , yet now lives a beautiful life..
