Doctoral Moment 101: Real maturity on behalf of a preacher is not predicated on the sound of his jargon however it is primarily based on his or her ability to properly interpret the text and bring clarity for the hearer. When a preacher has lost respect for his God and integrity to the Bible he preaches, he becomes the problem and not the solution. It is in fact a reality that they cannot hear except they have a preacher and so as preachers we must preach and teach the truth not twist and mingle, not give our subjective philosophies to impress people by saying nothing. If what you preach cannot be used by the laity and it is proven to work then you are wasting their time scheming them out of money for your own personal aggrandizement. Preaching is not predicated on what you get from the people but rather to show how blessed you are by what you give to the people for the Bible says it is more blessed to give than it is to receive.
