Dont miss the ORYX Challenge upcoming tour this weekend. Last day to register is Sept. 12. The United Service Organizations ORYX Challenge Bike Tour is Sept. 14 at Freedom Crossing. The challenge is a great organizational team-building activity. Register the whole unit, organization or family and create esprit de corps within the group while promoting physical fitness. The perfect-for-beginners and family-friendly 30-kilometer ride, starting at 10 a.m., takes participants through East Fort Bliss tank trails and streets, which might help reduce first timers anxiety and stress. The 100-kilometer challenge, for the more practiced riders, starts at 8 a.m. and takes cyclists through the east side of Fort Bliss and El Paso streets. Both rides begin and end at Freedom Crossing.
