Dorayaki Quest: Soba Dorayaki! The dorayaki quest continues with a quite rare dorayaki. It’s Soba Dorayaki! Fortunately, it’s not a Dorayaki made with soba noodles inside, but a dorayaki made with some buckwheat (soba) grains inside. Buckwheat or soba in Japanese, is famous for making noodles, but you can also use it to make a lot of other foods like bread, sweets, mixed rice and so on. Soba dorayaki is filled with a classic red bean paste filling, but since the pancake part contains grains, the texture is quite interesting. It’s a very nice sweet to enjoy with a cup of green tea.
