Doris Evans (front, left), a home health aide for Community Health Professionals Private Duty Services in Van Wert, is one of five women who will be honored as Flowers in Full Bloom during the 2014 Peony Festival, June 6-8. Doris, Eloise Biro, Phyllis Rice, Shirley Jarvis, and Jane Bonifas were named 2014 Flowers in Full Bloom. These five women, all ages 65 years young and older, exemplify the best in character, service, and dedication. Doris has been an aide with Private Duty since 1995 and is caring, loyal and dependable. She is often requested by clients and is always willing to serve. A reception for Flowers in Full Bloom honorees will held on Saturday, June 7, at Willow Bend Country Club, starting at 1:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
