Down Memory Lane..I had 3 guys sitting at the bar...I told them I will tell a bad joke, one thats not funny, and when I say PASS THE SOAP you guys start laughing..my barporter was Art DeJoseph..told him to come with me while I tell a joke..two bears sitting in a tub together, on said to the other PASS THE SOAP..the three guys started laughing, Art saw them laughing and he got hysterical laughing, the more he laughed the more they really laughed...every night I would set guests up to laugh when they heard PASS THE SOAP...I would have Art tell it...when he hit the punch line..They cracked up...he laughed because he never told a joke that was so funny, everybody loved it and laughed...He got good at telling it, and told it often, only to the guests I hand picked. one time he told it without me and the guest looked at him..he had a big smile on his face waiting for them to crack up..they just looked at him..I was dying..told him they didnt have a sense of humor. I swear, till this day, he never found out it was a put on.
