Dr. Joe Marasigan, although I never got to know you much personally, I know that your contribution to Mathematics in the Philippines is tremendous. Moreover, you pioneered numerous programs in Ateneo including my degree in AMF. I know that you silently guided me in my entire five years as a student in Ateneo. Thank you for being there and for all the lessons. We mourn the loss of a hero in mathematics today. May you rest in peace. :(
