Dr. Myles Munroe. By now youve probably been informed of the tragic death of Dr. Myles Munroe, his wife Ruth and daughter Charissa, along with other ministry leaders and the pilots of the Lear jet that was transporting Dr. Munroe to a leadership conference to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island. We are remembering Dr. Munroe, his family and ministry today as we grieve the loss of a visionary and yet very practical and powerful man of God. At RFT we have been blessed as beneficiaries of Dr. Munroes insight and wisdom from his Potential books - Understanding Your Potential; Releasing Your Potential; and Maximizing Your Potential to his Purpose & Power books - The Purpose And Power Of Prayer: and The Purpose And Power Of Praise & Worship to his Kingdom books - Rediscovering The Kingdom and Kingdom Principles and of course his book Single, Married, Separated & Life After Divorce. All of these have been resources in shaping RFT as a church whether in a class, in a workshop, in counseling, while preaching or simply as recommended reading. Dr. Munroe leaves behind for all of us volumes (more than Ive listed) from which we can glean Kingdom principles toward a new way of living. He will be missed, yet his fruit remains. Pray for the Munroe family, particularly their son Chairo, and the Bahamas Faith Ministries International (BFMI) family. And I recommend that we all refresh our understanding in Dr. Munroes writings to honor him and for inspiration as Kingdom dwellers and leaders.
