The only answer to this problem is to allow expatriates to own flats,” he said. ............“We should not send back expatriates to their home countries. In fact, we should give them the best we can. If they like our country, they’ll stay and probably create their own family business here and it will benefit the country at large. So instead of sending back their hard-earned money, they’ll spend it here and we’ll benefit from it,” he said, referring to the recent crackdown on expatriates in Kuwait where many complained of harassment and being wrongly accused of immigration violations.
