In both cases , they are territories of which the first reigns , the other prince claims . With a little good will , the King of Spain could also grant a title of nobility which covers the South- America or the Philippines (but in this case the local governments in charge might resent it ) , Prince Murat could grant a title Sicilian because his ancestor Joachim self-proclaimed de jure King of the Two Sicilies , even if your ancestor did not ever actually ruled the island of Sicilia.
