EASTER EGG HUNT ALERT!!!!!! The Attalla Parks and Recreation Department will host a flashlight Easter egg hunt featuring 10,000 plastic eggs Friday evening April,4 at the Attalla Sports Complex behind Carnes Recreation Center. There will be a hunt for children 4 and younger at 7:15 p.m. and a hunt for children 5 to 10 years old at 8 p.m. Both will be held on the ball fields. The eggs will contain either candy or tickets for prizes, including gift cards. Parents will only be allowed on the field with children 4 and younger. Children are asked to bring their own baskets and flashlights. There is a $1 participation charge per child. The age divisions are 4 and younger, 5 to 6, 7 to 8 and 9 to 10. The Easter Bunny also will be available for pictures.
