EDMONTON SERVICE ROADS WILL COST EDMONTON TAXPAYERS $$THOUSANDS OF $$DOLLARS. If The City of Edmonton Bylaw states that 6.8m wide service roads are too narrow to function as a two-way road with parking, they are guilty of breaking their own bylaw. This will cost the City Residents $$THOUSANDS OF $$DOLLARS as The City of Edmonton must immediately change all Edmonton Service Roads 6.8m or less in width to one-way service roads with parking & install the appropriate one-way signage & re-routing traffic & cyclist signage, notify Canada Post so they can re-route their mail delivery plus others effected to remain within their law. Hoping it is not a Bylaw for everyone’s sake. As per The City of Edmonton: Cul-de-sac access road with 10 or fewer lots fronting and/or flanking the Cul-de-sac access road do not require a sidewalk. (thinking this becomes appropriate due to similarity to the One Block Access Road 8600 Block & 142 Street - 6 Houses.). Definition of a Service Road: A local road that runs parallel to a main road that is primarily used to gain access to the property bordering it.
