EIGHT YEARS: On this day eight years ago I did what no young lawyer should do, I opened my own office, the Ward Law Firm. It was me and a part time assistant. Since then weve had good people come and go, but our growth has continued. We expanded our office a few years ago and very soon the day will come when we need more room. We keep adding attorneys and staff. You are only as good as the people around you and I have been blessed with working with some of the finest people on earth. Our other business endeavors are run out of the same office so we always have a lot going on. In years past we had cake and a little celebration, but not today. We are just too busy. Our little firm has taken on some giants and we have seen them fall. Im very proud of the work weve done. We are not perfect nor do we win every case, but Im happy that we are fighters, troublemakers and refuse to give up. Never listen to anyone who says you cant do the impossible, that your dreams are foolish. The only people who say those kinds of things are people that have given up on themselves or who never had the heart to try. Make today matter. Happy Thursday.
