Each week Coach Wu (@wuchuanfu), head coach of the Singapore - TopicsExpress

Each week Coach Wu (@wuchuanfu), head coach of the Singapore Weightlifting Federation and former Chinese weightlifting team member, takes time aside to chat with me about Chinese weightlifting philosophy. Because their lines of approaching lifting differ than what is being taught here in the states, its taken me some time to open my mind enough to comprehend what Coach Wu is trying to teach me. This has been a fun and fascinating journey to take this information and try to apply it to my own lifting -- much harder than I expected. This week, Coach Wu shared stories of his teammates Liao Hui and Lu Xiaojun. Being a huge fan of these two, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Coach Wu sent over this video of Liao Hui showing his support and gratitude towards spreading the good word of the Chinese weightlifting system to the world. Translation: Greetings everyone, I am Beijing Olympic champion Liao Hui. Firstly, I would like to thank everybody for their unwavering support in the Chinese weightlifting team and me. At the highest level, Olympic weightlifting is essentially the art of perfecting the control of ones power - by no means an easy task. I am grateful that my former team mate and brother, Chuanfu is doing his part in spreading the Chinese weightlifting system and imparting valuable information via his company Chuanfu training systems. All the best, comrade! #FuBarbell #ChuanfuTraining #ArtofPower #weightlifting #crossfit #crossfitgirls #crossfitmen #Olympic #Olympicweightlifting #usaw #snatch #clean #cleanandjerk #technique #inspiration #motivation
