Earlier I mention how I gave an hour and a half presentation, and received an A. While this poem was not presented, it is about bullying, which by doing this presentation.. Made me want to do this poem more! I hope you enjoy!:) BULLY The Earth begins to not rotate And the worlds begin to blend As anxiety takes the words of hate And hurtful wounds will never mend Its not a fact of saying stop Or that kids are just too cruel! Its the fact that its an open shop For bullies all to rule! For youre washed amongst the masses Of a sea that drowns your screams And you move from all your classes With a lowered self esteem! You have your insecurities placed on a line Thats meant for open fire! As each bully learns take there side And each word thats heard is dire! You feel the words that can be said! cuts deeper than all wounds.. As contemplation of being dead Sounds better then assumed! Theres the ones who even beat you up And leave marks for all to see! As your tears begin to fill the cup Of painful agony! The fear will then consume your life And things will seem so bleak! The fear will all take you in strife And steal the future that you seek! With a number that is 10%! Of victims who drop out! We never signed a damned consent! As our pain will twist and shout! So what is it youre supposed to do! Are you to believe all that is said! Is everything they say is true! Should I swallow all thats fed!? No! You have to see theyre wrong!! Youre more beautiful than that! And if you feel youre not too strong.. Then remember this small stat You lived your life to get this far! And sure there is endeavors. But even in the sea of stars The shining last forever! For others also walk this path Vast and wide just like a canyon But you have to see! And you have to laugh! And realize here can be companions! That simply you are not alone! And that you cant forget With 2.7 million shown.. Bullied victims... dont regret! The qualities that make you, you! The beauty that you hold! How life is wonderful and true And dont brush off what youre told! For theres others who can understand And have issues just the same! But if we unite! Get up and stand! We can end this bullied game! Ive witnessed this.. Ive been there too And it sadly breaks my heart.. But Im glad I finally made it through And I have a brand new start! Its being able to just look back! Remembering how you made it here! Take a lesson from the pained attacks And wash away the fears! For once you take your forward steps You start to see a lesson That standing still will never get The answers to your questions Dont have the thought you wont be loved In spite of all the words they spout! Because out there.. Theres the one above Who wont believe the shouts! The one who sees and still defines That the word beauty starts with you And prove to all that testify How your love can prove its true! And for the words that were bombarded On a reckless battle field Remember strengths rewarded If you make it with no yield! As once said! Youre that much stronger And the world will shortly see. That your empathy and kindness Is what will add to your beauty! Because sticks and stones can break our bones And words can actually hurt us! But learn to stand and heal your wounds For.. What is it they can tell us? For in the end were all the same! And we should let the bullies see! Our life should not be one with pain But one thats with beauty! Because everyone who is reading this In the life we know is full! Dont forget! And dont remiss! For we all are beautiful! Remember! We are all capable of making it through! And we have to remember we are not alone! Because once we start doing that.. Then weve let the bullies win.. Stand up! Be proud! And dont let anyone make you feel differently! Because as I said.. We are all beautiful! If in my dreams I can dream about reality, then why shouldnt I be able take reality, and fill it with my dreams? Be positive!:)
