Earlier to we heard a report that power may be restored to Marathon by tonight. Apparently the report was false and based on hearsay. We have since learned that crews are still working hard into the night to repair multiple lines and poles. The completion of this large operation may take from two to three additional days. As we did mention before, the conditions are very muddy and crews are having problems with getting to remote areas where lines are located. We apologize for the prior report, and we will continue to post any updates as we get them.
