Early this evening, for once the The OldBank in South Road, the Red Bastion of North Liverpool in L22, will be blue as the red regulars cheer on our Blue brothers from the haunted side of Stanley Park against the legitimate side from Mancheste (theyre not b--tards). It will be a surreal experience but a worthy one. No, Ade Odowd has not lost his marbles by openly encouraging such apparently insane behaviour...no, there is a certain method in his madness. If Everton manage to glean a point from the game, it might just give Liverpool the chance to kick on and win the league. If, and its a big if, this happens, I will gladly sport an Everton shirt after the Newcastle match in the Old Bank, to show my appreciation to the Blues. God forgive me.
