Early voting for the CCCCSD Tax Ratification Election will start Monday, Aug. 19, and end Aug. 30. Voters can cast their ballots from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the courthouse annex. Election Day is Sept. 3. Voters will also cast ballots at the courthouse annex that day. Those requesting a ballot by mail can send requests to the Crockett County District and County Clerk Office, Early Voting Clerk, P.O. Drawer C, Ozona, Texas 76943. The district is holding the tax ratification election asking voters to increase the tax rate by two cents, from $1.04 to $1.06 per $100 valuation. This is the only issue on the ballot.
