Election Observers Accreditation Requirements In view of the 2014 Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for the 28 November 2014, the Namibia Institute for Democracy is implementing its Voter’s Education Program which includes Election Observation. For Election Observers to be accredited by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN), the following items must be submitted. Can you kindly provide the NID with the following: 1. ORIGINAL standard size passport photo (Kindly write your full name behind the passport photo) 2. Indicate region and respective constituency close to your home where you will be observing the elections. 3. Bank Details Note: We ONLY want the account number for the person OBSERVING, we will not deposit money in relative/friends accounts. 4. Active email account. Were we can contact the observers Please Note: NID will not be responsible for the transport and accommodation fees unless indicated/communicated. Only Candidates who provide us with the above mentioned will qualify to be Election observers.
