Emergency Animal Rescue Support (EARS) OK our fabulous EARS Supporters, we know you love a challenge so we plan to pose a very special EARS related missions over the next few weeks in the run up to Christmas. Can you help? We believe we all can. So.............. heres Mission Number 1. As you know we recycle as many items as we can. One of the items we collect to recycle are corks, good old wine corks. Your mission is to consider how we can collect more corks (yes, we know, drink more wine!). Do you know any hotels/pubs/clubs/restaurants who you could ask if you/we could collect regularly from? Could you do a quick reccie of your neighbours green waste recycling boxes each week and see who is using wine with screw tops and who uses bottles with corks? Wed love to increase the number of corks we collect. Theyre just completely wasted (boom, boom) going in the bin. We have contacts that will pay a good rate for corks, some of which are used by craft groups for their work. Can you help? It costs nothing to think and. hopefully nothing to suggest either.
