Engineering Draughtsperson / CAD / Design Engineer 73001579 Circa £25,000 per annum OVERVIEW Location – Sheffield Duration – Permanent Contract Hours of Work – 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 2pm on Fridays Benefits – This is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow and develop their career prospects with the company, potentially to Senior Management level. THE CLIENT Our client is an established company that provides a wide range of engineering solutions, specifically conveying equipment. They are currently looking for a talented Engineering Draughtsperson to work in their drawing office. THE JOB You will be required to interpret customer requirements to create 2D CAD drawings to facilitate manufacture. You will assist and oversee the production of technical data, including drawings, works orders, BOMs and routings to facilitate manufacture. You will undertake contract feasibilities including plant layouts, design calculations and detailing of special purpose handling equipment. Provide technical specifications and manuals as well as produce contract and product cost schedules to facilitate the estimating and quotation processes, along with maintaining both hard and soft copy information. You will be proficient in using 2D CAD software ideally AutoCAD, be able to effectively communicate with people at a variety of levels and ideally have experience of being involved in the full process including BOMs, estimating/quotations and providing technical specifications and manuals.
