England, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece. That is 9 European teams knocked out of FIFA 2014 World Cup before quarter-finals. Europe had 13 teams when the tournament started (Germany, France and Netherlands having qualified to the quarter-finals, while Belgiums fate will be determined after playing USA today). So, only 3 teams from Europe have so far proceeded to quarter-finals out of the initial 13. Africa, meanwhile, had 5 representatives, of which two (Algeria and Nigeria reached the second stage). Looked at this way, it is easy to see that Africa is not as bad as painted but rather, some continents have an in-built probability of going further and winning the trophy by virtue of manipulated, biased numbers from the onset. If Spain (current world champions), England, Italy (four-time world champions) and portugal (with Ronaldo lol) can get knocked out at the first time of saking, then surely Europe is not as good as Africa, just that Europe has more numbers than us. FIFA should give Africa 13 places at the World then we can compare oranges with oranges!!!
