Eryne Shan - Well we found out yesterday that Eryne in fact has C-Diff again for the second time while in the hospital. Isnt that wonderful. I think its time to make some of our own signs for Erynes room. Something like ... We Value her life and ask that you do too, please wash your hands , put on a gown, gloves and mask. She has now lost 9. lbs ughhh . Last week she had a Trach replaced due to a balloon that burst. A pick line taken out and replaced, a right heart cath. ( we are still waiting for the results on) all of which they put her on NPO. plus an extra day with no food just waiting. Now this C-Diff again! New week ... She has her work cut out for her but we know it can all be accomplished, as she is CF Strong !! Praying for the new lungs to come soon. A lot of people have asked whats taking so long, had other things come up etc. The answer is yes, things have come up, but more recently we are just waiting for the right set. Eryne has B+ blood and an antibodies, she is also small in statue . Rare blood and an antibodies that has to be matched exactly or the lungs will reject right away. With her only being 55 it also narrows the search as she is so small. Keep in mind all of these have already been found by GOD its just a mater of timing. There are a lot of things this un-expecting family has to do, time they will not get back, love that needs to be made evident, emotions that will be rocked forever. We respect that and trust that GOD will make all things possible for all of us. Im asking that you all please pray not only for us but the donor family as well. Pray that the donors family is surrounded in love just as Eryne is.
