Eskdale Estate bungalow, my first independent command as an SD - sadly I dont have older images. I remember having my 21st birthday party in 1957, at which occasion about 4 small barrels of Nuwara Eliya Breweries draught bitter was consumed, resulting in a number of fellow SDs being discovered the next morning in various attitudes of peaceful repose, and in various places (one half in & half out of a window, another in the drain outside, another in the middle of a flowerbed.... - think Noel Halangoda was one of them.. - other names were Bousfield, several Camerons, Jeremy Faulkner, etc..). Happy days...!!!
