Estimating Team Lead We are currently seeking a dynamic polished individual for an Estimating Team Lead in the Edmonton/Sherwood Park area. Overtime is available. No LOA or FIFO offered, but relocation assistance available for the ideal candidate. Candidate must live in the area or be willing to relocate. Requirements • 7-10 years’ experience in a management field • Excellent supervisory and mentoring skills • Strong technical skills • Good organizational skills • Superb decision making skills • Experience in industrial pipeline construction • Experience in the following software; o ASET or AACE or AQSA o Excel, Adobe o Microsoft Office o 3-D Modeling, Primavera 6 Duties and Responsibilities • Assign tasks to estimating team • Review outstanding tasks • Update priority list/ projects/clients • Manage and administer estimating functions • Maintaining data bases • Review estimate plans –detail and accuracy • Clarification lists, tender forms, work breakdown structures and rate schedules • Development of estimating or presentation of estimates • Identify risks, opportunities and solutions • Contracts and cost impacts • Monthly progress reports • Update , develop and review project info, data bases and estimating plans to ensure completeness and accuracy • Use of document management system • Organize and participate in meetings, site visits, pre-bid and post-bid meetings • Collaborate with various departments to ensure project success/completion • Resolving estimating matters in contract negotiation and executions • Independent reviews or estimates • Ensure documents relevancy • Oversee maintenance of estimate/proposal files for accuracy on qualifications, labour rates, construction equipment rates, pricing etc. If you feel this is a great opportunity for you please forward a copy of your current resume along with three references in confidence to Tina Burton at Jetstream Personnel Consulting via email; hr@jetstreampersonnel or fax 780-875-0998.
