Evans spinal epidural was taken out last night because it stopped working (tubing clogged) so they also took out his Foley (pee pee) catheter. His pain was well controlled but he had a lot of itching (side effect of morphine) and it made it difficult for him to fall asleep. He is very done with the hospital and everyone messing with him. Some more good news, he is passing gas so his tummy is waking up. We got the okay to start advancing his diet. Preliminary pathology report is back but results were inconclusive so we will have to wait for results from a pathologist in Chicago in about a week.
