Even tho these past few days have been difficult, exshausting, scary cuz my lil guy is pretty sick..... I can still feel the Christmas spirit in the crisp air, the scent of fireplaces being used & as I drive, I see houses decorated with brilliant lights. The sound of the season plays on the radio & so peacefully & amazingly reminds us that our Savior, our King, God Himself, came here, wrapped in the form of a newborn baby.... He didnt have the warmth of a heater, a fireplace nor a nice cozy fleece blanket, or even baby Jammies..... He was wrapped up in swaddling clothes, laid inside a manger, full of hay. Our King of Kings.... Our God.... The Savior of the World.... Came as OUR GIFT, not wrapped in pretty paper & bows, but in swaddling clothes, laid in the lowliest of places.... YET, all of Heaven Rejoyced!!! My Savior, my God, wrapped as a newborn baby.... Came here, knowing, that He would be chastised & whipped & broken, for us! For our healing, for OUR SALVATION! Let us not just remember Him when we feel it in the seasons air or by the surrounding decorations..... WE should be ever so thankful, humbled, grateful, that He died that we may have the chance to be with Him again!!!
