Even though the Westville boys’ soccer team wasn’t able to - TopicsExpress

Even though the Westville boys’ soccer team wasn’t able to pull out a win today, they have a lot to be proud of this season as it was their first-ever post season victory. And although this alone is quite an accomplishment, in years to come when these players look back upon their soccer-playing high school career, it will be the memories shared and the bonds formed when practicing and playing together that will be remembered and cherished. This week, our Senior Spotlights featured two seniors, Chandler Chasko and Austin Swistek, who have been playing soccer all through their high school career together. We usually post the Spotlights separately, but this week, after you read the Spotlights about these young men, you will see exactly why they are being introduced together. These Blackhawk Senior Spotlights written by Kylie Kaiser with photography by Ana Gubic appeared in the 10-9 edition of the Westville Indicator. Parents, be sure to pick up a copy for scrapbooks and graduation memorabilia. You can buy the paper for just 50 cents at Old Time Foods and the Westville-New Durham Township Public Library. Better yet—just subscribe using the order form on the last page of the paper so the paper gets delivered right to your home via the USPS so you don’t miss the weekly coverage of the local schools and communities. And like us here on Facebook to stay up on what’s in the paper each week.
