Evening all. Tonight i had a curious phone call from a distraught Lady who lives not that far away in Wolverhampton. She contacted me because She is experiencing what sounds like Poltergeist activity in the house She`s only been living in for about 4 weeks. Activity started about a week after she moved in, doors would slam on their own, a strange smell would appear and disappear, banging and commotion is heard upstairs and in the loft area too. It`s gotten to the point now where she`s not sleeping because of all the disturbance. She chatted to the previous occupier a week or so ago and she claimed that there was activity there too when she lived there, she claims she was confronted one evening by an `entity` that tried to possess her. Of course we are going to pay the Lady a visit this week one of the nights, first thing we`ll do is look for rational explanations, a big factor could be it`s a new house and she just has to get used to the noises the house makes as it cools down in the evening, as some of you know, buildings settle and shrink at night, this can cause floorboards to creak and pop and that can be mistaken for footsteps and disembodied thumps and bangs, she does have a few claims of `visual` phenomena however that may be a little harder to debunk, it could after all be her active imagination, we do know that the mere suggestion of `Ghosts` can itself conjure up apparitions and sightings that are generated by the subconscious, something that`s always a difficult subject to approach a client with and you have to be very tactful. Hopefully when we go round we can give her some peace of mind and find her some `natural` explanations, the equipment will be running for a few hours while we interview her so if they capture anything on the video or the audio we will of course let you all know.
