Ever heard of the street artist iHeart? In the last several years, fascination with street art has been gaining momentum among the general public. No doubt the explosion of awareness about Bansky and his work has a lot to do with this. Street art is an informal medium that can pop up anywhere, without warning, and without explanations, or even artist acknowledgement. The artist has nearly total control over its placement for the duration of its existence, and the fact that it can be anywhere, gives the work a unique feeling of immediacy we may not encounter with other forms of visual expression. Today, we were excited to learn that one such piece created by iHeart was just named as the 2nd most popular street art of 2014 by London Street Art News. What are your thoughts on his piece?
